About the Role & Team
The Program Manager will report directly to Assistant  Chief Counsel for Global Ethics & Compliance Management (GECM) and will be responsible for managing complex investigations, streamlining case oversight, driving program development, and enhancing operational efficiency within the compliance function.

The position will require to be 4 days at the office.

What You Will Do
1. Case & Project Management: The Program Manager will oversee all ongoing matters, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and keeping leadership informed. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining oversight of active cases, setting priorities, and tracking deadlines.
  • Keeping the Assistant Chief Counsel updated on case progress, workflows, and time-sensitive matters.
  • Collecting and analyzing progress updates from investigative teams and escalating critical issues.
  • Establishing clear communication channels between investigators and leadership to optimize efficiency.
  • Developing, analyzing and reporting key performance metrics related to critical incidents, investigations, and risk reduction.
  • Preparing executive reports and briefings for senior leadership and stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.

2. Internal Investigations Management: The Program Manager will oversee the execution of internal investigations, ensuring thorough, timely, and confidential handling of all matters. Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and managing investigation plans, tracking key steps, and ensuring timely completion of action items.
  • Orchestrating investigative team meetings, setting agendas, and tracking deliverables.
  • Overseeing the collection, review, and analysis of investigation-related data, documents, and evidence.
  • Facilitating interviews with relevant witnesses and stakeholders.
  • Documenting investigation outcomes and drafting final reports for executive leadership and legal teams.
  • Conducting post-investigation debriefings and lessons-learned sessions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Identifying training needs based on investigation findings and developing corrective action plans.
  • Managing relationships with third-party vendors and outside legal counsel as needed.

3. Program Development:  The Program Manager will drive process improvements and operational enhancements to strengthen investigative functions. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading initiatives to streamline investigative workflows and optimize case management.
  • Developing and implementing best practices, standardizing procedures, templates, and operational frameworks.
  • Driving continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk exposure.
  • Creating and delivering training programs to improve stakeholder understanding of investigative procedures, risk mitigation, and compliance best practices.

4. Budget & Financial Management: The Program Manager will oversee budget planning and vendor management to ensure cost-effective operations. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the investigation program’s budget and ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Utilizing financial analysis skills to manage departmental budgets and financial planning.
  • Sourcing, engaging, and overseeing relationships with third-party investigators, external legal counsel, and other vendors.
  • Monitoring vendor performance and ensuring high-quality, timely delivery of services.
  • Applying expertise in financial systems, contract management, and cost-tracking to optimize expenditures.
     

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: At least 6 years  of experience in program and project management within a corporate, legal, financial, or compliance-driven environment. Experience working in a matrixed, cross-functional global environment is essential.
  • Financial Expertise: Extensive experience managing departmental budgets, conducting financial analysis, and overseeing expense tracking to ensure adherence to corporate financial goals.
  • Project Management: Expertise in project planning, status tracking, and project delivery, with proficiency in program management tools and methodologies.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Budget Management: Experience managing budgets and external vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with business goals and priorities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of software tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, SAP, and ServiceNow.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Disney’s content production, brand guidelines, and intellectual property landscape.
  • Experience working with compliance teams, investigations, or internal audit functions within a multinational corporate environment.
  • Experience delivering training or creating educational materials related to compliance, ethics, or legal investigation processes.

The hiring range for this position in Greater Los Angeles is $111,000 to $152,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
